Gold toilet stolen .. One arrested

An 18-carat gold toilet was stolen from Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire in the early hours.

According to Thames Valley Police, a gang entered the Palace in Oxfordshire and stole the artwork.

This gold toilet was the creation of Maurizio Catalan, an Italian artist. It was part of an exhibition that opened on Thursday.

This toilet was in use and the audience was called to use it.

0This toilet has not been found yet, but a 66-year-old man has been arrested in this case.

The police said that the building has also been damaged due to the theft as the toilet was flooded after it was uprooted.

The 18th-century Blenheim Palace is a World Heritage Site where British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill was born.

At present, it has been closed due to investigation.

The Duke of Molbora's half-brother Edward Spencer Churchill said last month that he was determined to protect the artifacts. It won't be easy to steal something from here.

People coming here were also allowed to use the throne but only for three minutes so that the line could be avoided.

Detective Inspector Jess Milne said, "The artwork that has been stolen has a high price." It was made of gold and kept for exhibition. ''

"We think the thieves may have used two vehicles." The artwork has not been found yet but we are investigating. ''

In a tweet from Blenheim Palace, information has been given that the Palace will remain closed for the whole day and will be open on Sunday.

In 2017, this gold toilet was offered to US President Donald Trump.
