Indian action in Kashmir will promote extremism: Imran Khan

Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that what India is doing in Kashmir on its part will create an illusion of extremism.

Addressing an event on Friday in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan-administered Kashmir, Imran Khan said that he will do for the people of India-administered Kashmir, which no one has done till date.

On August 5, India had abolished the status of the special state of Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 of the Constitution. Apart from this, the state of Jammu and Kashmir was also announced to be abolished and made into two centrally administered states.

There has been tension in Kashmir since then. Civil rights are banned. Section 144 is applicable in most areas. Landlines have been restored, but mobile and internet are still banned.

Since the independence of India in 1947 and the partition of the country, there has been a dispute in India and Pakistan about Kashmir. Pakistan says that according to the UN Security Council resolutions and the wishes of the Kashmiri people, Kashmir should have its final decision. Whereas India says that Kashmir is an integral part of it and India presents its claim on Kashmir which is part of Pakistan.

Imran Khan also targeted India's ruling party BJP and its ideological organization RSS while addressing a gathering organized in support of the Kashmiri people on Friday.

Imran Khan said that RSS considers Hitler and Mussolini as their role models and the Indian government wants to impose the same ideology on Kashmir.

He challenged the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that what he is doing will create a huge reaction among the Kashmiri people and will lead to further increase in violent incidents.

Imran said that not only Kashmir, but 200 million Indian Muslims and 125 billion Muslims around the world will react to this.

Imran said that India is pushing not only Kashmiris but also 20 crore Indian Muslims towards extremism.

He said that he will go in front of the world by becoming the ambassador of Kashmiri people and will inform the people around the world about the situation of Kashmiris through international media.

Referring to the Pulwama attack, he said that a 20-year-old youth victim of the Indian Army attacked Indian soldiers in which more than 40 soldiers were killed.

But India blamed Pakistan for it and bombarded Balakot.

Imran said that the result of this was seen by the world how Pakistan killed an Indian ship and also caught a pilot of their fighter aircraft.

Imran Khan said that Pakistan returned the Indian pilot because Pakistan wants peace in the area.

He said that at the end of this month, he will also talk about Kashmir in the United Nations General Assembly. He told the international world to stop the 'Hitler of India'.
