Mamta's going to Delhi

Mamta had even said that she does not consider Modi as Prime Minister.

Now the same Mamta not only congratulated Modi on his birthday on Tuesday, but will also meet him in Delhi on Wednesday.

Mamta has called it a goodwill visit after leaving Delhi.

This meeting of both the leaders is being considered very important in the political circles of Bengal.

Political observers are also surprised by the sudden visit of Delhi to Mamata, who has so far avoided going to all the meetings called by Modi.

Due to this, the phase of speculation has increased here.

While opposition parties have drawn Mamata for this, questions are also being raised whether the snow is melting on the relationship between the two leaders and if so, what is the reason?

Staunch critic of Modi\

The meeting is taking place at a time when the CBI investigating the chit fund scam of the Saradha group in the state has lost its hands behind several leaders of the Trinamool Congress and former Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajiv Kumar.

Mamta Banerjee, who is also the Trinamool Congress president, has been the most staunch critic of the BJP and Modi in recent years.

This will be the first formal meeting between these leaders after the Lok Sabha elections.

The last formal meeting of the two leaders was held on 25 May last year during the convocation ceremony of Visva Bharati University in Santiniketan.

Mamta described her visit as a routine in conversation with journalists at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Airport here before leaving for Delhi on Tuesday.

He said, "During the meeting, various issues related to Bengal will be discussed. This will also include the issue of the outstanding amount of money to the state."

Congress and CPM allegations

Mamta said that during the meeting, besides raising the name of the state, she will also raise the issue of merger of public sector banks.

She said, "I hardly go to Delhi. It is a routine visit. Now I am going to talk about the outstanding amount of money to the state. Also I will raise the issue of renaming Bengal."

He said that during the meeting, they will also discuss issues like merger of public sector banks, Air India, BSNL and Railways where there are many problems.

Mamta said that employees of these institutions cannot go anywhere else. These people plead with the state government.

Meanwhile, all opposition political parties have criticized Mamta for her decision to meet Modi.

The Congress and CPM, in particular, raised the slogan of 'Modi-didi bhai-bhai' and said that the Trinamool Congress and BJP have already met. Now this thing has been proved by this meeting.

Increased activation of central agencies

CPM leader Sujan Chakraborty says, "What did Mamata not say on PM. Now that there is a possibility of the central investigation agencies being surrounded, then she is running for Delhi."

He said in the assembly that the people of Trinamool know very well how the setting is done. Chakraborty says, "Former Commissioner of Police Rajiv Kumar is sure to leave. Now Bua (Mamta) and nephew (MP Abhishek Banerjee) can be saved, this is the only purpose of the Delhi tour."

Congress leader Abdul Mannan has also made the same charge.

He says, "To stop the increasing activism of the central agencies, Mamata is going to meet Modi. On the other hand, this attack of Congress and CPM can also help the state BJP leaders."

He has made the central leadership aware of the ground political status of Bengal.

Meeting prime minister

BJP national secretary Rahul Sinha says, "Mamta, in fact, has gone to Delhi only to talk about Sarada and Narada matter. Economic demands are just an excuse."

Another state BJP leader, on the condition of anonymity, says, "Seeing the constant slipping of the land under her feet, Mamata has gone to Delhi with a message of agreement to save her chair in the 2021 assembly elections. The state BJP has its own This apprehension has also been conveyed to party president Amit Shah and executive chairman JP Nadda. "

Political observers say that politics has its place. But due to the stubborn attitude of Mamta, the Center has cut the amount allocated for many government schemes.

Apart from this, the state is also facing many economic problems. Mamta will request the Prime Minister to remove these problems during the meeting.

Political analyst Maidul Islam says, "Mamata's visit may be part of her strategy. With this, she may have understood that it is difficult to run a state by disturbing relations with the Center."
